Have you considered taking up tennis to get some exercise or to meet new friends and have fun? Do you already play tennis and are looking for a club to join? If you are then you would be made very welcome at Rendezvous Tennis Club!

Club nights are Tuesday and Friday evenings at 7pm from mid-April to September and Thursday evening from September to March.

Our tennis courts are located in the grounds of Knockbreda Parish Church behind the Minor Hall, Purdy's Lane, Belfast.

Closing Day - Saturday 24 September 2011

18 people in total turned out for this increasingly popular occasion, is it the promise of chocolate bars at the end of the tournament to every person who turns up? - what a fickle crowd we are, or just easily pleased!

As usual we all played at least 4 rounds of tennis punctuated by afternoon tea and Maureen's delicious homemade scones. Who needs the Merchant hotel?? The final match was Peter and Linda v Graham and Florence. After a nail biting finish the victors were Graham and Florence - all that coaching paid off, Norman.

Many of us then enjoyed a delicious meal provided by McKee's catering. Following this the Most Improved Player of the season, Anne McColgan, was presented with a trophy. Well done, Anne - and your lethal forehand!
